Due to being unwell this past week, I decided to share an old project I worked on. A few years ago, I made a set of expressions of my dragon, Dawn, in the form of stickers to use in place of some emojis on my phone. I'm particularly fond of the Melting Dawn expression.
After having my birthday this past week, I decided to draw my dragons interacting. Dawn is my main dragon sona, but Sage is another one I have. I really like the light green and light purple colour combination, so I designed her with that in mind. Strangely enough, both Dawn and Sage have feathered wings, despite how much I dislike drawing feathers. But feathered wings are pretty and I need to get better at them, so this was good practice.
Recently, my husband had his birthday. So, I made a little art piece for him. Figured I'd share it here too. It's our dragons flying through the sky.
I noticed I usually only do white clouds when I do a basic sky background, so I decided to try making the clouds in this one a bit greyer.
