Since in your Soul Eater au, weapons can resonate with other weapons, would Pastry and Red Velvet have a harder time resonating with each other compared to a more traditional meister-weapon pair?

Hey hey Lego! Weapon/Weapon partnerships are equal to Weapon/Meister partnerships in terms of difficulty, just the latter is far less common. Ability to resonate purely depends on one’s soul wavelength, not their forms :3

Pastry and Velvet both being weapons had nothing to do with their troubles resonating… they just had difficult souls, they equally struggled with other weapons and meisters.. but together they can just as easily resonate as any classic weapons/meister pair! Guess they were made for each other or smth…👀 power of love ig

Pastry had horrible times finding a meister, for not a single Death Order Meister could hold her weapon form without her hurting them. The only one she was almost able to resonate with was Black Forest - another weapon - but she couldn’t level with the intensity of BF soul. She tried, over and over and over again. Yet no result was different... Velvet had the same problem, after accidentally burning Matcha he swore off getting a partner and wanted to go solo… until Lord Death paired him with Pastry..

Here is a Fanart I made of Shadow Sister Cookie. Despite not appearing often in the story, they are one of my favorite cookies, along with Pastry Cookie. I hope we get to see them more in future events, maybe even becoming playable . <3

God fucking damn it, Madeliene. Okay, looks like you all were all right, Clotted Cream is a villain. I kinda holding out, he would be morally ambiguous but oh well. Though his motives interest me a bit. I believe he does have good intentions for his republic though is doing immoral/questionable things in order to achieve his ”ideal”  version of it. Similar to affogato motives though more in tune with DE’s ones. And also the other council members are in on it as well, as proven by the earlier cutscenes on day 1 and day 3(or 4). That is why he says” They will see”, he wants to improve his home as well as prove himself worthy of other council members.

I can’t wait for the continuation of this! Good thing there aren’t any more surprises.
