The wolf form is more of just a host shell it took over from the planet it ended up landing on. Azrael is basically an alien species called a Celestial that gets mistaken for ‘angels’ or ‘gods’ by planet inhabitants.

The Mine'khrom
They are a drago-humanoïd species originating from a realm lost in time.
Most of the Mine'khrom were enslaved by Shao Khan or killed after refusing to surrender after he conquered their homerealm and forced them to either work at his forges or his farms.
Most of the survivors and the ones that escaped slavery live now in a underground cave with a huge series of tunnels situated inside a mountain partially surrounded by a thick forest, which are actually what's left of their homerealm. Some Mine'khrom risked it and went wondering Outworld to settle down on more peaceful lands on the surface.
Physical description:
The Mine'khrom have a humanoid appearance, but they hold traits that ressemble dragons such a scales, horns and a tail.
They have very shiny colourful scales. They are situated on the forehead going down the nose, all over the ears, a little on the cheeks, from the back and sides of the neck to their shoulders, from the forearms to the outter skin of the hands, all over the tail, from the sides of the thorax all the way the side of the ankles and on the feet.
Their eyes come in many colours, the pupils are vertical splits and the sclera also comes with colours.
Their nose structure is almost similar to a feline. They are sometimes crooked.
Some Mine'kkrom may suffer from genetic conditions that alter their appearance (albinism or heterochromia for exemple).
Lifespan:
The Mine'khrom can live up to 150 000 years or maybe more depending on their diets and life habits, 1 year being the equivalent of 10x of a human's lifespan.
Clothings:
Their clothing style are mostly a mix of ancient Nordic and Chinese clothings.
Lifestyle:
They used to live in villages and fortified cities or some even lived as nomads. Their most important industries were farming, blacksmithing, forging and various forms of crafting. Nomads were most likely to hunt-and-gather for a living.
The Mine'khrom men were mostly the ones providing necessities to their families, but happens that some women have to provide most either because they are widowed or their husbands were gone for a extended period of time.
