How do I get a headshot drawing request? Or are those over now?

The post I had up for it is closed since I got the five I needed. However everyone who follows me keep your eyes peeled since I might have to do it again. I have to draw a lot of heads and I love experimenting with designs that aren’t of my own.

Will you ever record DST videos for YouTube again or have you kinda moved on from Let's Plays?

Eh, it’s debatable.

Don’t get me wrong I had fun making those videos but I’m going to be brutally honest. I’m an awkward person and I’m not funny enough to be a let’s player.

And to top it off some things went down that really turned me off from doing content like that ever again. I don’t want to go into detail about it since it’s personal but I’ll just leave it at unnecessary drama and me feeling like a huge idiot. 

There’s a slim chance but as it stands it doesn’t interest me. 

I’d rather just stick with my storyboards and animatics.

23. Dreamworks or Pixar?

Ffffhhh…. that’s a tough one >0> I really like both of them, cause they have both made movies which I connect to my childhood. Maybe Pixar; I remember more movies from that one that I watched as a child, and still enjoy till this day.

If Winona becomes a canon Don't Starve character, will you write her in any of your stories?

It really depends what happens and the impression she leaves.

I’m not against her existing. Heck I’d be excited to see a new character on the scene however I will make something clear.

Survive the Shadows beats to its own drum as it were. It has its own canon that it follows. Like how Queen Charlie didn’t happen, how the timeline flows a bit differently, how the Shadow World works, how Maxwell is interpreted and a list of other things. So in turn with this series in particular it doesn’t get influenced heavily by things that are revealed in the original Don’t Starve canon by the Klei Staff. Things get incorporated sometimes (including things I really can’t talk about at the moment because spoilers) but it just depends if it would work and still line up with the lore Storm and I have built into Survive the Shadows.

Other works like the Don’t Starve Together Journals and Strangely Scientific are a bit more flexible in regards to their canons.

While the Don’t Starve Together Journals is more so an alternate timeline of Survive the Shadows its canon is a mix of Survive the Shadows and the canon Klei has revealed. The backstories of the characters are basically the same but the events are unfolding differently. Winona has a better chance of appearing here than in Survive the Shadows since some things are altered.

Strangely Scientific is its own little bubble so anything kind of goes. It has no relation to Survive the Shadows save some shared backstories but that’s about it. Anything is possible in the canon in this one until the story progresses further.

I can’t speak on behalf of The Reserve since that’s Storm’s story so her rules.

Overall, depending if Winona becomes canon and she leaves a good enough impression she might be incorporated or she might not be. It just depends if she would work in the worlds Storm and I have built. I would love it if she became canon but for the time being for all we know she might’ve gotten scrapped. Till Klei says something, we have no idea and even if that isn’t the case it’s unknown if Storm and I will even like the idea of having her in our stories or even bothering with her but hey I always like to think there’s room for all possibilities.

I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time I warmed up to something. I originally didn’t think I would like the ruins very much but then well, I took a liking to the mysterious pictures and paintings from the Metheus Puzzles and then well we got Laika who by far is one of my favorite Don’t Starve OCs I’ve created and the lore I’ve built so far for her people has been a blast.

So, who knows, Winona might become part of the stories, maybe she won’t. Just depends. Doesn’t mean I don’t want to mess with her at some point just not right now.

The best I can say if she did become canon and Storm and I decided to say she exists in one of the world, she’s the oldest in Charlie’s family and the reason she wasn’t present in say Book of Shadows was because she busy at her job at the factory. But that’s a what if scenario. *shrug*

In the mean time, the best chance she has right now are just random doodles from me on speculating what she might look like.
