general 3 am brainrot thoughts about gwizdo alert 💕😊

man, it's actually not all that surprising that I've managed to stay hyperfixated on him for almost 8 years now, before i became an adult, the character fixations usually didn't last more then an year, but now when I'm actually like, grown up and supposed to function like an adult, 90% of the time I fail miserably, incapable of paying the rent on time, being seen as a failure by society and slowly starving day by day

... and then i look at gwizdo and like, my god, it makes perfect sense why I always return to this guy, he's literally me. of course I always dump the weight of my misery into him, we both live thru the same shit, he's just the more fortunate one (by being completely fictional of course) but still, if I didn't have gwizdo I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be alive today, he became a projection of myself the moment he took his hat off

some stuff from the dragonhunters au i was working on a little while ago! i never got around to doing ref sheets for pony!toby or pony!claire, and my fixation on toa has diminished somewhat so idk if or when ill make more stuff for it, but heres what i have so far :P

some notes:

pony!jim's name is silver spring, toby's is butterscotch beryl, and claire's is violet night! silver and beryl's nicknames for each other are silv and bear <3 and violet cals beryl BB lmao

aaarrrgghh and blinky probably just keep their canon names because. idk it fits

headcanon (does it count as a headcanon if its MY au?) that aaarrrgghh has distant gargoyle ancestry, hence his scorpan-like mane and tiny wings

silver's special talent is probably either cooking-related, knife/swordplay related, or dragonhunter-specific. maybe he thinks its cooking and is confused about why he has no cutiemark, then gets his cutiemark when he finds the dragonhunter amulet? theres probably a lot of internal conflict to be had there, since thats just one more indisputable piece of evidence that being dragonhunter is the one thing silver is meant to do with his life.

beryl, on the other hand, got his cutiemark VERY early on in life. he likes rocks, man

i havent drawn her yet, but violet's special talent is probably either theater or shadow magic.
