couldn't them pushing it back kinda be a good thing tho? if it means they're spending more time on it and making it a good quality film, and they're pushing out penguins 'cause it was an easy make and they want it out of the way first so they can work on Home?

This is a possibility. And I will admit I haven’t gone looking for more in-depth answer than the announcement I stumbled across. 

I’m hesitant to think this way, though. Big name animation studios have a habit of dealing to the lowest common denominator in favor of anything else, especially if that “anything else” could pose any possible risk to them. Generally it doesn’t mean they’re spending more time on it, it just means they’re spending less time on the “possible risk” to push the easier film out the door quicker.  

But there’s always going to be another easy to churn out moneymaker movie. And it will almost always get pushed forward in favor of something else. Because studios are for profit and they want to milk a title for everything its got. 

It's not a good system, and it's terrible from a representation standpoint. I'm just hesitant to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Primeval Renewed: Act One, Take Two

Okay, so basically, the first thing we need to do is write the script. One of the reasons that I got so overwhelmed was for the same reason we had to get rid of our goats: It was too much, too fast. I thought that we needed to get everything all lined up from the start; voice actors, concept art, animation. And no one tried to tell me otherwise.

So this time we're going to take things slowly. Script first, other stuff later. I started a Google doc for the script, with the notes and edited character names (I never said it before, so thank you for the new names, harknessismyhoney. I like the new ones a lot better.)

I'm still pretty new to the whole Google docs thing. Not really clear on how to do a lot of stuff, but I'll figure it out eventually. So anyway, the link is on the Primeval Renew Blog. If you can't remember the password, it's prp, then the five numbers that were etched into the artifact in season three, all one word (prp*****).

Supposedly, if you have the link, you can read it, but I think that I have to invite you to edit it. I don't know, like I said, this is kinda new to me. If you have problems, let me know, and I'll see if I can do something about it.

Ok, so DK, you were trying to figure out your draonflycopter, and you seemed dissatisfied with the wings so I began to wonder how dragonfly wings even work and duuuude! These little twats are so cool! Look at that closeup of their backs! I didn't realize their exoskeletons could move around like that! Like I knew there was a little of that because of the way the 3 body parts of insects connect and such but LOOK AT THAT SHIT! It's like an oscillating system of hills in an unstable swamp!
