Meet the Alum-Merlot Family!
Calla Alum (she/her)
A wyvern born from a family line of guardians taking on her destined role to watch over the Earth village, being queen of the flora, and very gentle hearted to everyone she meets! Though she is very quickly thrusted into making a decision as to who the next guardian will be if her daughter decides she doesn't want to follow in her family's footsteps. Calla won't force this roll on her, but she worries what may happen to her if she doesn't.
Koal Merlot (he/him)
A lung dragon who has been given the role of being the guardian of the Fire village, and despite his reckless nature, he shows that he can still be a good leader and that he is suited for the role. He is unexpectedly thrown into fatherhood by his wife, but he is still willing to try and be a good parent to his daughter. Sharing the same sentiment as Calla, no matter where she chooses to go he still wants to be there for her.
Camellia Alum-Merlot (she/her)
A european dragon hybrid daughter to Calla and Koal Alum-Merlot, she is next in line and takes with being the next guardian of the Earth village, although she does not want to be a guardian especially when those do not accept her as an Earth dragon, she still has to decide what she actually wants for herself. Does she want to be the next guardian and allow her mother to retire? Or does she want to leave her mother to decide the next guardian herself while running off to live with her dad?
These three are all from an old story project of mine I started in high school, so I decided to give my main characters a good redesign while I'm rewriting things in the background! I have a lot of other lore I haven't shared yet but don't worry I will get to all that very very soon, and hopefully I can come up with a project tag so I can organize these posts properly in the future...

Quinn experiences dirt for the first time, hesitant to step on it he keeps his tail warped around his left leg and all him limbs as close together as possible confused as to why the ground is green. and oaks practically swimming in it. Quinn gives his a sarcastic supportive comment and Oak drags him to the ground next to him.
THEY WOULD OH THEY SO WOULD! They exchange gardening tips but also get jealous over who can grow the best magic flowers in the fall for the fair contest.
Quinn and Amber.....Amber being the blunt child she is would just be like. "You look like my uncle." and Quinn not knowing Jingle had nieces and nephews. is just like....what? and then amber forces him to run around and play games with her. and he teaches her some circus tricks. hes surprisingly good with kids. hes been entertaining them his entire life before Oak found him. but hes quickly hired to be the clubs baby sitter because the gang has kids of their own to watch out for, and Jingle can be....hes just not very good with them.

These dragons and their designs were based off of a set of Christmas Macarons. I just like designing characters and trying to get as creative as I can, in a way this was just practice. So far I'm only keeping "Eggnog", now know as Mina Cloudfrill (who is my Profile), and I won't be using the others as actual ocs since this was just a drawing exercise.
Caramel Apple: She/her. Earth dragoness (Earth/Rock Aspect). Colors- Green, Gold, Caramel Brown, Purple (Eyes)
Cranberry: He/Him. Fire (Flame Aspect) + Earth (Plant Aspect) Dragon. Colors: Red, Cranberry Red, White, Pink (Magenta), Blue (Eyes)
Hot Cocoa: She/Her. Ice Dragoness (Regular Ice Aspect). Colors: Cerulean, Violet Blue, Icy Blue, Brown, Red (Eyes)
