Arokh & Rynn 🔥
Drakan art commissioned by my brother. Haven't drawn dragons in a long, long while, so I really enjoyed drawing this!
One of the guardians and forth eldest offspring of Banji. Arokh's a devoted and knowable fighter. He learned different martial arts and elemental magic, such as ice and wind, making him a very strategic Aquarian. While not as super serious as his older siblings, Arokh is a determined person that will make sure that no nefarious beings will get their hands on the sacred treasure, the pyrosian dragon balls. He keeps his mind and emotions composed, even in a fight, when he get's serious he is ready to give it all he has. Not many are able to defeat him. His knowledge of the old stories and the secrets they hold, even practicing these skills while meditating. He will turn his entire body to stone to mentally train for a long period of time, though some would just assume he was just sleeping and not wanting to be disturbed. The Lavasaurs are what train him, and Arokh can speak their language, making it easy for him to get some training, or information. He will form bonds or connections with those with righteous hearts, for he values nobility as well as the understanding of the world and its important history. He also get's awkward or embarrassed if someone teases or flirts with him.
The best games that need to be remade 💙
Stormrider - Drakan: The Ancients' Gates Soundtrack
Computer Gaming World, Issue #174
Scans of some pages discussing the game Drakan: The Order of Flame, also released in 1999, as well as an ultimately, (and unfortunately!), canceled game by Blue Fang Games, 'Dragon Hoard'.
The way Ken Brown describes it reminds me a lot of the eventual 2001 game by Lionheart, Black and White, which is one we greatly enjoy.
(I also kind of wish we got the second Rynn model..)
