Identity asks: 4, 11, 15, please :)
Thank you for the ask!
4. do you like your name? is there another name you think would fit you better?
I love my name now, but I hated it growing up. It’s very unique (so much so I’ve never met another) and it’s rare that anyone pronounces it right. I also got made fun of for it constantly as a child. Now I embrace it. I don’t think any other name would do.
11. describe your ideal day.
Wake up without help (no kids or alarms), have a cup of coffee in peace, perhaps go to the bathroom without anyone barging in, spend some time outside in the sun playing with the kids, go for a walk in the woods, have a filling dinner, and chill. I’m pretty easy to please.
15. five most influential books over your lifetime
1. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle - started my reading obsession.
2. Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams - showed me how funny books could be
3. Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K Hamilton - was the first book that made me say “I can do that”
4. Faeries by Brian Froud - reignited my passion for fantasy creatures
5. Harry Potter series (I won’t choose a single book here. I’m cheating.) - got me back into reading as an adult
