the thing that makes me the most angry about dr*rry is that dr*rries will use the hbp quote “he was slowly becoming obsessed with draco malfoy” as “"evidence”“ that this trash ship is real. if you actually read the fucking book you’d know that

1.) hbp is the same book where draco deliberately breaks harry’s nose and hides him on the train because he didn’t want anybody to find harry 2.) harry was tracking draco’s every move on the marauder’s map because he was suspicious that draco was a fucking terrorist 3.) harry used sectumsempra on draco because it was described as "for enemies”. harry was LITERALLY willing to use a spell that he didnt know the effects of on someone just because draco was his enemy.

i could write a whole essay on why dr*rry is the complete opposite of canon, but not on this post. not today.

It takes a lot of work and effort and backwriting to make it so the relationship isnt a little fucked up? Like ron wouldnt talk to him for long while and i feel like if ne drarry fics mention it theyd frame it so it seems like ron is unjustified??? But he totally is justified. Hermione would just ooze disapointment and would be very cold. And neville would probably be downright devistated and angry snd i feel like hed def give harry a piece of his mind bc like???harry was the first to protect him and now???
