I have a questions re: Drarry tumblr tags. Am I imaging things or do people not use tags anymore? I notice this becaus occasionally Im at my another persons tumblr and I go to the "Drarry" tag and I cant find anyone! None of the usual big active bloggers are there, it seems like most dont use the "drarry" tag when posting, why?
Hi anon! Hmm I really couldn’t say, in my case I’ve always had issues with Tumblr’s tagging system and my posts never showed up in the main tag anyway, so eventually I gave up and created my own system to organize the blog (#Drarry fic rec, #Drarry reclist, #hp rare pairs etc). I make an effort to use the main tag when I get a“find the fic” type of ask or something else that needs more visibility.
I occasionally check the Drarry tag to find new fics posted, artworks and the likes, but I’ve also seen many things that don’t interest me at all like ship wars / ship ranking (?), unsolicited fic concrit etc so I haven’t explored it further. But that’s my experience and I can only speak for myself, so I’d be curious to hear other people’s thoughts about this!
