Listening through my albums A-to-Z in between my Bowie reading then listening. I hit K. I’m skipping albums I know I listened to when purchased, but I don’t remember if I listened to my #kansas #albums or not. Sometimes I remember purchasing then filing them to listen to when I get to them, which I may have done with Kansas, so get ready for a few Kansas albums. I have the first run of albums from the first one in #1974 to #drasticmeasures. I’ve seen two different iterations of this #band in concert, post #kerrylivgren with #stevewalsh and #davidragsdale, and the current lineup. Unfortunately, I never saw the original lineup. Rags is amazing btw. I feel like the first two albums are the real Kansas. Freaking #purists. :) But that’s their concept: a rock band with a lead #violin in place of, or alongside of, a lead #guitar.
