Poor Slovenia got relegated in 2000, so this is their super-cool re-entry to the contest and their seventh-place finish has yet to be beaten.
This song easily swept its category, Most Staging. Because that is a lot of staging.
So here’s a good chance to talk about the Eurovision’s tie-breaker system. If a song cannot be tie-broken by the number of countries that voted for the song, or the number of twelve points and so on (most likely because the number of points is zero) the song that went later gets the lower place. And that is how The Makemakes became the only act to ever score nul points and not get last place. Sorry, Ann Sophie.
Great song, stunning visuals, incredibly singer, this is a terrific winner!
