A bit late but here's something I worked on with the Drawfest team for #armageddonchch2018. Took us a few months of planning and a few weekends of hard work but here it is in the flesh! Thanks to everyone who made the #Drawfest Mascot a success, as well as the Mascot puppets and handlers on the day who spread joy (and a little fear) to both young and old! It was a blast spending long, cold nights in a damp shed just to make this a reality! In theme with Fullmetal Alchemist, Drawfest Christchurch also built an Alphonse bust to help decorate the Anime room @Japan day 2018! This build was quite challenging and for most people who helped on the build , their first few steps into Cosplay and prop making. Special thanks to Caroline, Daniel, Jed and Nicky for their time, effort and tools in this build. This year for Japan Day Anime room/Drawfest collaboration, the drawfest team and I built a light up human transmutation circle! The best thing about this circle is that it activates when you place both hands down, it makes you feel like an alchemist haha. Overall people loved it, young and old, fans and non-fans of the show. I'm really happy with the work that everyone put in this year!
