(sorry if ive already asked this) How do you draw so fast :0 its very impressive i wanna be like that

havent been asked b4, and even if i was dw ^^

i guess my speed is a combination of a lot of things, partially its because i kinda feel guilty whenever im not doing smth productive, so i will rarely be 'just' watching youtube or anything

and then i have a lot of time because school doesnt really mind me drawing at the back of class because i do well enough that they just let me whatever

and then and then i just have a lot of sources of things to draw. also also my process is incredibly fast, from working on a tablet with finger so theres no finicky tech to having a rendering style that hides bad sketchwork and anatomy.

if you wanna draw faster i would suggest making it a casual thing! if youre watching something just open up a new file and put down that doodle idea or character concept or anything! also quantity over quality really helps

If you have any traits that you’re insecure about or don’t like, my personal advice is to put them in your art (and show them neutrally/positively). give them to your persona, your ocs, your favorite characters, whatever. i’ve mostly done this with art, but i imagine this applies to writing and such. make your own representation, give those traits to things you love, show yourself that things can have those traits and be loved, it helps :)

this youtuber DKettchen made a video series a while ago about drawing trans people, but i think it’s also useful for drawing gnc people :). It goes into a decent amount of depth about (cis perisex) male vs female traits, parts of transitioning, gender presentation, how clothing looks more masculine or feminine, etc. There’s some generalizations and missed details, and he doesn’t talk about intersex people at all unfortunately, but overall it’s a useful series for me, I’d recommend it

Thanks, I'm glad you asked, it's one of my favorite things to draw!

From a starting perspective, I use a variation of connected and disconnected lines to detail thickness of hair on the body (and also make the process a little easier) -

It's always important to keep volume in mind, and for limbs, the arches of the lines should mostly go along with the contours of the limb, it helps with solid figure!

As for body hair, usually I draw it centering from the middle of the diaphragm and going outwards. From there it can usually go outwards like a line down the body!

I would also definitely recommend looking at multiple styles of how people draw body hair, some of my favorite types just make people look fuzzy and furry which gives a warmer tone to the art. :.]

I've been looking for references to draw our dear Ascended and my guesses are that:

-Azir is a grey hawk, (this would fit the most (with how his leg and arm feathers look) of all the other hawks i searched for)

-Nasus is melanistic black-backed jackal (shape of it's snout is most fitting and melanistic because there are no black colored jackals apparently, where did egyptians get this idea from? idk.

-Renekton is saltwater crocodile (matches by coloration the most, that's it)

[it would be soo cool if they could mimmic the sounds of their animals as well. azir and nasus woud be hilarious since their animals make kind of high pitched noises, but renekton? those hisses and growls would strike fear into everyone around him OvO)

I want to draw more, but since my mum's computer died she's basically stolen my mac (which has photoshop and all of my files on it) so she can  keep working from home.

Ugh computer sharing is hard.

Still, i have my sketchbook in the meantime. It just means i cant share whatever im drawing with you guys for a while.

Just a little info I was looking up for my art. To save you a little time, The UniBall Signo white pen was the clear winner save for a few circumstances. The author also gives tips on cleaning white pens. If you use layout pens or just about any waterproof ink, these pens are a lifesaver. In fact, my speed has increased a lot since using them for correction.
