#drawing tablet help

Can someone who does digital art please help me find a good low price tablet? I really want one with a screen but I have no idea what is good and what isnt and I’ve seen that like a fire tablet is a good one for drawing but ???? i really have no clue :( Even just names is great it doesnt have to be a whole detailed reason or anything just like a brand even would be lovely please and thank you!

Do I plug it into my laptop first then get the driver?

I finally get the time and motivation to draw again and my tablet pen isn’t working...? I have a Turcom TS-6580 tablet and it shows it’s plugged in, but the pen won’t connect with the tablet at all. I tried changing the battery and tip, and uninstalled and reinstalled the tablet driver. If anyone knows how to fix the issue I’d really appreciate it!

Have any of you guys used an iPad for digital art/ like a drawing tablet? I got my own iPad when I started college and I really wanna try doing digital art again... I was just wondering if it’s possible? I don’t wanna invest in a drawing tablet just yet, especially when I’ll probably get bored of it pretty quick

Drawing tablet question

I just got a basic Wacom Intuos and I’m trying to decide what software to use with it. Can anyone recommend (free) drawing software to use for a beginner/hobbyist interested in cartooning? Is the software bundle that Wacom offers any good? And tell me why you like that particular software.

in need of drawing tablet help.

I just got clip studio paint, and a drawing tablet, to be specific the ‘ H1060P Battery Free Pen Tablet’ . I opened csp without a problem, I could use the pen to click on things, and could move it around, however, I couldn’t do anything in the program with it, not even draw. I can, however, do so with a mouse.

Any help would be appreciated.

my drawing tablet broke so im trying to fix up my aunt’s old huion tablet

i thought it was the tablet itself but it turns out to be medibang paint pro

it delays the pen for a few seconds then it appears

and its really freaking frustrating because it works anywhere else

does anyone know why it does this and can help me out?

Ok FUCK, I’m soooo frustrated!! And I have to just...chronicle this experience for my own closure!!!!

OK, so first. Photoshop: good shit. Yiynova works. Pen sensitivity. A+ Everything’s fine. Only thing is I have to change the tablet to be the main screen. (I have 2 monitors and the yiynova). If I don’t, the tablet input just gets overlaid onto the other monitor.

SO. Animate CC. Works ok. But! No pen sensitivity. So I can’t make nice lines. The lines are all the same weight. Fine. First thing to try: Update drivers!

Cool! I update the drivers. Photoshop: Still fine. A+ good. AND I don’t have to switch off the main monitor anymore. Great! That was an annoying extra step. 

Animate CC: Sees tablet pen when it’s hovering over the screen. BUT when I click it TELEPORTS to a different monitor....soooo????

Fiddle around more. Google shit. Other people having similar problems. No solutions. Cool. 

Reinstall Drivers again.

NOW Photoshop doesn’t work either. SO FUCK.

So, right now, I can’t do ANYthing with the tablet. And I’m LOSING MY MIND. Other weird bugs happening at different times. Once, it just kept the mouse at the far right corner of the tablet screen. Then it started spreading the mouse input across all THREE screens.

In terms of solution. Previously under settings etc. the yiynova was identified as yiynova. But now it’s designated as PnP Monitor (which is like standard whatever monitor). NOW, a solution was recommended which may have pinpointed the problem.

Unplug ALL other monitors. Configure yiynova using their software. Configure tablet monitor using Windows settings. Which doesn’t work! It will go to the configure screen, tell me to click the corners, but it won’t register any clicking. SO, that’s where I’m stuck.
