hi guys! i’m so glad to see everyone is enjoying damian’s in his feelings so far, i’ve loved writing the last four chapters <3

starting on monday April 13th, i’ll have to stay away from tumblr for a while because i start school again, and since i’m on my last year of high school and i only have a month of class left until graduation, i’m going to be buried in work and exams until June 5th approximately

i wanted to give a heads-up so as not to leave you all in the lurch all of a sudden haha, expect updates when i’m freed of the pain that is high school though of course! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

I had a really important realization about Astro and this is lowkey personal but it's still important, I think, so hear me out. When I was a kid I would watch these super famous American singers go to other countries always singing their songs in English. I always thought it was cool but wasn't very fair to the people who didn't speak English. So I decided, at the ripe age of 6, that I will become a singer so I could make or sing songs in everyone's language. Obviously I never did that. But Astro is. Going to countries that don't speak your language and simply communicating in yours makes sense. It's all you know. You can't help it. But these boys and Fantagio are making an effort to actually connect to people in their own language and that's really magical to me. Because it was my childhood dream. I understand that I'm soft and kind of a dork for them but this is important. Language provides a connection between people, a means to communicate ideas and form friendships. You can't truly be someone's friend without understanding each other in some way, or at least trying to. As a kid, I wanted to be friends with everybody. So I wanted to learn their languages, I still do. And that is what Astro is doing. They want to be our friend. TLDR; Astro is cute and wants to be friends with us by singing in languages we understand the best.
