Weird bug I saw in a dream last night that I thought might be appreciated here:

Some kind of moth that was highly poisonous as a pupa, and the cocoons were bright and iridescent and came in multiple colors. And for some reason they tended to build their cocoons linked together so there would be these beaded necklace looking structures hanging from trees and stuff. The adult was some kind of pink and black clearwing I think.

I think every time someone dreams about a weird bug, it should become real

i feel weird that i still do not have a favourite beatle, but i have a very good reason :

a year or so ago, i had a nightmare.it all began with Paul casualy asking of he's my fav beatle.i said that i don't know.then John appeared and yelled "NO I AM HER FAVOURITE BEATLE" and then they draged me by the arms, from a side to the other, until Ringo and George also came, grabbed my legs and all of them started pulling off my limbs on different directions.

so in conclusion in fear the others will revenge somehow, i refuse to have a favourite beatle, other than Eppy, even though i don't know much about him

I have to tell you about this bug I was trying to id in a dream I had last night!! Its head and thorax were medium brown and it had big round eyes and raptoral forelegs like a praying mantis BUT its back half was tall and narrow like a planthopper, and it had the red/white/black design on its wings like a spotted lanternfly. In the dream, my inaturalist app kept glitching, and the bug moved too fast for me to get a clear picture 😭😭😭 has this ever happened to you?

I have definitely dreamed about made up bugs, yes! I just wake up wishing they were real :(

I once had a dream where I held a giant African millipede. For some reason after it walked on my arm for a bit it made my skin feel like it was burning. Aside from that, it was a very polite dream friend!

My only logical guess (despite the fact it was a dream) was that all those legs generated a lot of friction as it walked.

Perhaps it made your skin burn because they are too beautiful and powerful for humans to perceive

As long as we’re sharing bug dreams, I once had a dream where i had a pet myriapod (i cant remember if he was a millipede or a centipede but i THINK a millipede) except he was as thick as Dwayne Johnson’s biceps and Many Meters Long and liked to come up to me and shove his face into me like a puppy trying to cuddle. I was very sad when i woke up from that one.

I had a dream where isopods had a shell instead of an exoskeleton and they had to change that shell multiple times throughout their life like a hermit crab but could keep their shell for as long as six months before having to exchange it (which was supposed to be an insanely long time for isopods), and that there was a spider in the form of a large beetle that was so indestructible that it could be cut apart with scissors and could use the force of gravity to pull itself back together and be just fine...

Now I'm upset that those don't exist irl
