W H A T A S U R PR I S I N G S A T U R D A Y . . As I sit here in the now empty flat that has been my "home" for the last 9 months...I am pondering... Today, since waking up at 3am I have experienced and F E L T approximately 10 different moods...no, not menopausally induced but L I F E on Life's Terms... Of course I am excited to be returning to my beautiful home at 5 Balmoral...BUT, what an adventure this last 9 months has been...😉 I enjoyed living at Cirencester all alone in a 1 bed flat (a first for me at the ripe old age of 51) for about a month.... however with financial difficulties, ending of a long term and toxic relationship, career changes, loneliness and fears of insecurity, a bout of full blown depression set in and I literally only left my bed to go to my shift at the Gym as I knew I had to show up or things would be worse. Fast forward to May and following a "successful suicide" attempt and subsequent loss of a fast friend I had made in AA here I forced myself to take ACTION and begin my mission of returning home to Bingham, Nottingham...🥰 Today, THIS has happened!! My son @kieranmcivor and his friend Jake arrived with an empty van and with the help of Lou we filled it to the brim!! Tonight I shall be in my own bed, in my own home of over 20 years and I cannot wait to wake up tomorrow and hang flipping washing out on my line...weird the things I have missed. Onwards and upwards as my school motto advised subliminally for my former years. Cirencester, it has been E.M O TI O N A L . I THANK YOU for the lessons you gave taught me...I learn well through pain... To Jayne...I wish you hadn't taken your life but I thank you for showing me that I want to LIVE... This afternoon I literally 'popped' into Ciren to deliver Chazza Shop Shite and met the most incredible man! After a conversation and him agreeing to sponsor my Borneo Trek we went to @regattaoutdoors and Derek and Vicky helped me choose appropriate hats for my trek and this wonderful and kind gent bought them ALL for me!!
