An entry for @dreamclan-clan-gen ‘s character design!! It’s been years since I’ve drawn sparkle cats, andddd yeah he’s not exactly sparkly he is as close as I could make myself get him super fun tho

Obsidian | He/It

I think he comes from a very big farm with and got brought to the city as a kit. Where it very quickly escaped the apartment and ended up on the streets. Before he came to the Clan he lived a very messy life, charming his way into every house it could and stealing as much food and trinkets as it could, and then moved on.

He did try to get back to the farm at some point, but got so hopelessly lost that he couldn’t even backtrack back to the city. He was picked up by another few cats and shown to another city, where he started his house-hopping routine all over again. He became a pretty good fighter, both because of his time on the street when he couldn’t find homes that’d take him in, but also because some of the homes that did take him in had other cats… Obsidian was not very popular with other cats… maybe because he steals more food than he needs, but who knows! Obsidian thinks it’s very charming, it’s not his fault he’s an ‘acquired’ taste.

It got bad enough that he was chased out of a city…. Or four. But maybe a Clan would be better?

this is obsidian, he likes eating fish

backstory:

born in a litter of four (his siblings being Bass, Herring and Salmon) to Kipper (the mother) and was an adventurous little guy who liked to do weird stuff with his siblings

he was later adopted by a young couple

they liked Obsidian a lot (Obsidian's birth name was Haddock by the way) and at some point one guy in the relationship kinda lost it (mental health issues) and killed his boyfriend

Obsidian scratched him up real good and fled, finding Dreamclan!

my entry for @dreamclan-clan-gen 's contest!

He used to be a part of a rogue group somewhere outside of Dreamclan territory before he got kicked out for whatever reason, he stumbled into a patrol one day and they decided to take him in. He is still sad because of his group leaving him for seemingly no reason (possible backstory)

He is a super silly guy, often playing around during important tasks and being oblivious to the fact that he is annoying, he also tends to be childish. He tries his best to seem cool especially with the younger cats, often making a fool of himself in the process. He is surprisingly good at socializing. He is pretty good at swimming but doesn't enjoy it that much because of the fact that in his sparkle form his paws and tail tip are heavier which cause him to sink a little bit, it's kinda just a bit inconvenient

I wanted to make a pre-sparkle form but I'm to lazy for that

Sorry if the details are a bit vague idk what else to add, I'll gladly clear up any possible confusion if problems may arise

Had the idea to base him on a skeleton which I did

Rock has three face tuft prongs and two ear tuft prongs

Bone has two teeth on each side sticking out

Symmetrical design

His collar has a little skeleton tag
