"Isn't that a good thing?" Daquavis asks, his mind bringing up several memories of what happened last time someone spotted him walking home alone. Mostly the memories of him waking up after the fact covered in blood and surrounded by shredded gore, and the memories of what happened immediately afterward, when he stumbled to the side of the street and threw up in the gutter after realizing that he was the one who'd done that.
