Undertale: Into the Papyverse.
My take on the 'Papyrus version' of Nightmare!
This is NOT the finalized design, but instead a concept and test on how it feels to draw this guy.
More rambling below!
I heard that dreamtale Sans &.. Sans?? (Dream and Nightmare) were based off of Swap Sans, so I wanted to keep that feature in mind when making Midnight. I'm going to try make the other 'Bad Sanses' into 'Bad Papyruses' (Or the glooby gang idk i wanna call them something else...)
I want to try and do something different with most of the Papyruses, maybe redesign them a bit to fit my style? Because most of them are dead (2/3 'minions') and one needs a bit of tweaking in terms of being suitable for a battle...
Which reminds me! I need to update the 'I Just Fell in Love With a War' series, so sorry for the delay if anyone reads it!! I'll be making little character redesigns for the series too.
Alright guys, the first of many parts is here! We're starting with smaller/lesser known AU variants of Papyrus and working our way up to the bigger and better known ones ^^ if you have any questions about this, feel free to dm me or send an ask, and feel free to suggest Papyrus variants too, if there's a specific one you'd like to see in this!
C'mon, Captain~! (Blossom/H x Nightmare Sans: Pirate AU)
Warnings: Mentions of violence, Nightmare Sans, romance, kissing, weak knees, romance, pirates, pinning to wall, pinning to floor.
"C'mon, captain!" As Dusk paused, her mocking voice reverberated. He turns to face her. H, the bane of his existence, also known as Blossom, Poinsettia's first mate was smirking at him. He wished he could remove that foolish smirk from her face. "What's the matter?" Blossom teased him as she drew in closer. Despite the fact that their swords were linked, she continued to tease him.
"Wipe that stupid smirk off your face." As he shoved her back, Dusk snarled. She laughed as she whirled to avoid his next attack. She was having a lot of fun with it. His soul thrummed looking at her. He shook his head, now was not the time.
"Don't be so uptight, captain~," Blossom smirked as she moved in for another attack on him. Their swords made contact once more, and the dance resumed. He was becoming irritated by how obnoxious and attractive she was. The way she walked, her confidence, and that stupid smirk were all attractive; there was no deception there. His gaze remained fixed on her till the duel finished with her dislodging his sword and Poinsettia summoning her.
"You-!" Dusk began, yet Blossom grinned with a sly grin.
"See you later, captain!" Blossom replied as she dashed to her crew. The smile she gave them drew him in. But he shrugged it off. He huffed as he prepared to set sail.
--------
"So you've come crawling to us? After everything?" Poinsettia shouted harshly as Dusk turned to face her. Their spacecraft had been destroyed, and they had nowhere else to go until the repairs were completed.
"Aww, come on, Captain." Blossom grinned as she turned to face the crew. Dusk smirked as she looked at her. "I believe it will be beneficial for us to increase our ranks, even if only temporarily." Blossom encouraged Poinsettia, who nodded and moaned.
"Fine, but only until your ship is repaired." There will be a brief cease-fire." Poinsettia snapped as she walked away, followed by a few crew workers. Dusk felt his face flame up when Blossom looked over with a smirk.
"Follow me, I'll show you where you'll be staying," Blossom said as she started walking. As he followed the human, Dusk huffed.
-------
"Are you planning on coming, Dusk?" Blossom inquired as she made her way toward the dining hall. Dusk crossed his arms and gazed.
"No-!" Dusk started until Blossom grabbed his arm and started dragging him with her. He was enraged, and she smiled at him. Dusk felt his soul begin to thrum as she smiled at her crew.
-------
"Pfft, just because you don't like me doesn't mean you get to avoid me." Blossom cracked a joke while Dusk huffed. He scowled and crossed his arms.
"I don't dislike you. You're... Tolerable." Blossom blinked when Dusk corrected her, and her eyes began to shine slightly.
"Oh? You don't do you?" Blossom smirked as she drew closer to him. As he began to move, Dusk realized he had made a mistake.
"I told you you were tolerable! This does not mean that I like you!" Blossom chuckled as Dusk protested.
"Sounds like you do to me." Blossom chuckled as she tapped his shoulder and started walking away. As they went together, Dusk argued with her.
------
"Who did this to you?!" Dusk demanded as he assisted Blossom in standing. Blossom weakly pointed them out. She was hurt, and his hands were trembling. He could see who had done it from a distance and calmed her down so she could be healed. He went as soon as he could to deal with the… situation.
-------
"You're worried about me~!" Blossom made fun of the skeleton while lying in the infirmary. Dusk huffed and scowled.
"I do not!" Blossom giggled as Dusk snapped back.
"You do! You absolutely do!" Blossom grinned as she glanced him over. She sat back. "Good thing, because I care about you, too." Blossom laughed, and Dusk blushed slightly. He averted his gaze and crossed his arms.
-------
Blossom pinned Dusk beneath her and he barely had time to respond. Her breath quivered, her gaze narrowed, and she straddled him. As he glanced at her, he noticed his face flushing slightly. Blossom grinned at him as she began to move, but he swooped her and moved her beneath him before she could react. He looked at her as he examined her. He moved his hand to her face and she blinked.
"Dusk-" Blossom started, but he hushed her. He needed time to look her over. There was no doubting her beauty. He'd seen her so many times before, but he stroked his hand down her face, tracing her lips with his thumb. She was staring at him, and he was staring at her as if he was captivated by her. Blossom blushed as he slipped his hand down to her neck, but then someone entered and he pulled away.
"Blossom?" Comet's words jolted her and his brother out of their trance. They both drew apart quickly when Blossom sat up. Her face was flushed as she smiled at Comet.
"Yeah?" Blossom responded as she stood up. Dusk crossed his arms as he observed her approach and conversation with his brother. He felt a soft sting of jealousy enter his soul, but he ignored it.
----------
Dusk felt jealousy whenever she was with his siblings or smiled at anyone, but he realized it wasn't healthy, so he told Comet about it.
"You're jealous." Dusk gaped at his younger sibling as Comet simply said.
"Me? JeaLOUS?" Comet looked up from his book as Dusk's voice cracked. Dusk blinked as the denial set in. Sure, he didn't enjoy it when she smiled at anyone but him, but it didn't make him envious! Maybe he enjoyed her smile, how she smelt, how soft her skin was, and sure, maybe he misses her and wants to protect her and make sure she's not injured and gets upset when she is, but-
Oh.
"Oh, my gods…" Dusk muttered as Comet smirked at him. The realization hit him like a ton of bricks.
----------
Dusk pinned Blossom to a wall, and she reddened. As she glanced at him, her heart was pounding. Her emotions bubbled to the surface. Dusk caressed her cheek and down to her neck, and she shuddered.
"You know exactly what you're doing to me." Blossom reddened more, and Dusk snarled. As he drew in closer, her heart began to race. He was much taller than she was. He leaned in close.
"I have no idea what you mean…" Blossom murmured as she observed him. It was exhilarating to feel his touch on her. He grabs her hand and places it to his chest and she blushes as she can feel his soul rapidly beating under her fingers.
"You know you're making me feel something for you." Blossom comprehended what Dusk meant when he whispered. She examined him up and down as they locked gazes.
"I'm feeling the same…" Blossom said quietly, and Dusk drew in closer. As she felt a tendril wrap around her waist, she swears he could hear her heartbeat.
He first stared at her lips, then at her. Her lips were being traced by his finger. She nodded at him as he leaned in and kissed her. As he drew her closer, she felt her legs weaken. She placed her hands on his chest as he held her up with his tendril. His kiss became deeper and his touch more frantic as he helped her waist and drew her flush onto his body. The kiss was so passionate, so deep, and it was electrifying. However, he eventually pulled away and caressed her face. They could've stayed like that forever as he pulled away and gave her a look.
"I'll arrange a proper date for you soon… See you later, gemstone." Dusk murmured as he started to go and vanished. Blossom felt her legs collapse. She falls down the wall as she rests against it. She is flushed and covering her face. That stupid skeleton definitely gets her heart racing.

Nightmare Sans belongs to Joku-Blog
Ahahahah. Much self-indulgence. This is OC x Canon. Sghiogh
Warnings: Fighting, Dust! Sans, Killer! Sans, Nightmare! Sans, many of things, blood, etc.
Spiro was tossed by Ink with little time to respond. To keep himself from falling further, he stuck his knife into the earth. He could hear the ground reacting this his knife. As Rune approached to assault Tusche, he smirked a bit. Rune was not someone to mess with. Tusche created an ink wall to block Rune's strike, but Morte sprang from the shadows and flung Tusche. Acrylic snatched his brother's scarf as he riveted his gaze on the group. Spiro could hear Bliss and Dusk squabbling as well as Bliss's drabble about how they needed to make amends.
"Get up." Dagger huffed as Spiro smiled and nodded. Acrylic rapidly prepared his paints. Dagger, as usual, appeared to have not slept. As a little swirl of power formed around Dagger, he prepared his next attack. Acrylic glared at him as some sort of magic encircled him. However, there was a sense of magic surrounding them. There were exclamation points beneath them.
"MOVE!" Rune yelled as he dove for Dagger's collar, and Morte followed as Comet yanked Acrylic back. Lightning strikes the floor, causing it to fracture under the pressure. With a glare, Rune stood up. But everyone seemed to be frozen in confusion. Spiro brandished a knife at the opposite party.
"What was that?!" As the opposition group flared a little at the threat, Spiro urged.
"That had absolutely nothing to do with us!" Acrylic protested and Lenovo yanked on his strings. Acrylic assailed him, putting an end to his brief respite. As he charged the other skeleton, one of his paints produced a big blue bone as he charged the opposite skeleton. The battle had resumed. Spiro and Dagger were attempting to tag team Comet. Comet kept up as he fought back. The struggle raged on, becoming bloodier and more vicious by the minute. However, as the AU began to break and blasters were poised to collide…
They halted as they watched someone they'd never seen before redirecting the attack away from them into the air. After the light faded, there was a woman bursting with magic and wearing a mask that resembled a skull staring back at them. Lenovo tensed as he saw her morph into a skeleton with a face that looked just like the mask-like visage. She turned to face the group.
"It appears that my first deterrent had no effect." Her silky, almost icy voice made the audience quiver. Her purple eyes darted around the room, looking at the skeletons.
"Who exactly are you?" As the skeleton's gaze returned to him, Dusk demanded. As he stared at her, her purple eyes blazed.
"The one who is stopping this... exhausting and needless war." The woman responded as she looked around and under her gaze, many felt nervous. "But if you need a name, my name is Senna." Senna coolly stated.
"Needless? They will not listen!" Tusche objected and opened his mouth again as Senna extended a hand to him. Her appearance transforms into that of a human woman wearing a mask similar to her skull and sporting long white hair. Her form would be easy to call… unstable.
"You didn't even try," Senna retorted, making the guardian tighten and back off a little. "I've been following this… mess for a long time."
"How come we have never seen you before?" Acrylic stared at her, perplexed. Senna groaned slightly as she adjusted her gloves. A piece of paper appears as she snaps.
"Enough with the foolish questions." Senna took a peek around the room. "You all have to talk about it and sign this," Senna said almost like a command. The others gazed at her, puzzled, as she held it. "It's a treaty… A truce agreement. Whatever you want to name it." Senna's steely eyes locked with the rest of the gang. There was immediate backlash… until.
"I think it's a good idea," Umbra spoke up, drawing everyone's attention to him. "I mean, there has to be a balance between destroying and creating." Umbra gave a nod. Comet, Lucien, and Morte all nodded in accord. They eventually persuaded the remainder of the group to sign the document. When the woman vanished, they couldn't recall her name… However, they were forced to clean up.
