I've been doing a bunch of little tests to see how I can move things with magnets underneath, and a lot of them aren't very interesting because I'm doing them without adding critters yet just to see if they even work.

March of Dragons ‘21 prompt 1!

Five years ago, my sisters were into online games. (Still are. But that’s beside the point.) They found one called “School of Dragons,” and convinced me to play because inviting a friend got them gems. I thought there seemed to be a pretty cool backstory behind the game, and an AMAZING soundtrack, so I was pretty excited to find that there was a movie AND a TV series.

That’s how I got into the fandom! My sister and I run a fandom YouTube channel that I haven’t posted on in forever but shhhhh and I’m a regular over on the DragonChat on Berk’s Grapevine.

On a personal note, I’m a fiction writer and line editor, and I also work as an administrative specialist and social media manager. I’ve been a volunteer EMT with a BLS ambulance company for close to three years.

How far Astrid and I have come in a year. This weekend is Toronto’s holiday market con and I still have no clue what I’m wearing - but I am still thick in the middle of an Astrid con crunch. I’ve worked on/finished/started three different versions of Astrid this year and I’m not even mad about it. Between Hidden World and Homecoming, 2019 genuinely was the year of How To Train Your Dragon and I’m sad that there will be nothing new in 2020.
