STILL PRETTY MIFFED, A CERTAIN TEENAGER was making a beeline for Berk's stables, mouthing curses and statements to herself in her frustration while she fought to cool off. As soon as she bursts through the stable doors, she puts on a facade, seeming a lot calmer for the sake of her monsties. Handling beasts was always cathartic for her; Mari could be as wrathful as a demon, yet she would always restrain her rage from innocent creatures.
Finding Red amongst the locals' mounts prompts a smile. "Hey, hey . . ." With a soft coo, she greets her companion by cradling his chin in her hands. Ratha rumbles and prods her a few times with his snout; he can sense her distress. As a gentle creature, Red was always hard to offend, but his blue, burning gaze was staring into her questioningly, as if he wanted to know what had upset his mother figure.
MARI WOULD NOT ANSWER. She knew she just needed the chance to rein herself back in, anyways. "You wanna go for a flight? It's a nice day. We can go as far as the wind takes us, huh?" She pats the rathalos' shoulder. "C'mon." She begins to make her way through the stables towards the hangar. Ratha follows closely.
