i’ve always thought she just knew he was really weird about george so she did all of that to get his attention and is still putting up with it to be with him. she’s ignoring a lot of red flags

That is a valid opinion as we don't know for sure.

But if that's the case it's a really sad reality. For both her and Dream.

For her because if she's looking for monogamy, she's never gonna fully get it emotionally, Dream is always going to be insane about George, and she deserves to be loved fully. She shouldn't have to "put up with" what is at the very least some kind of emotional infidelity.

For him, because his partner isn't loving all of him and is instead looking past "red flags" to be with him. His love for George is absolutely a core part of him. And it also implies not great motives on her part.

The reason I vouch for polyamory/non monogomy so hard is bc it's the best case scenario for all of them. Anything else is sad and messy.
