Posted @withregram • @jdmmastersofficial Join us as we visit Honda's Headquarters in Aoyama 1 Chome in Tokyo. On the ground floor is a showroom which also called the 'Welcome Plaza' for visitors. For a limited time, various NSX models were displayed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the model since the original NA1 debuted in 1990. Although the iconic 'Type R' grade was not displayed, another important model was on display that was important in the ongoing development the NA1/2. in the early 90's Honda campaigned the NSX in LeMans 24 hours. Although the GT1was a 650PS over monster, it was the GT2 class which was the more interesting car. Bored up to 3.5 litres with 390PS while keeping the Natural Aspiration DOHC VTEC, it was arguably closer to the road car. Using a lot of the 1992 NSX-R parts with lots of custom carbon fibre and reinforcements brought weight to a measly 1050kg, this car was also driven by Japanese legendary racing drivers, Kunimitsu Takahashi, Akira Iida and Keiichi Tsuchiya and won its class in 1995. Also on display is the original 1990 NA1 NSX in Formula Red and black roof, similar to one owned by Ayrton Senna. Both cars are from the Honda Collection Hall in Motegi Circuit and restored and in perfect running condition. Also on display is the current NC1 NSX in yellow as well as the customer racing program NSX GT3 race car. The carbon fibre body shows the bare car with current regulation and technology that is the forerunner of today's racing class in GT3, Super Taikyu, Super GT. We also spotted the Civic Type R 'Limited Edition' FK8 JDM version. This origin of the 'Sunlight / Phoenix Yellow' FK8 has an interesting story linked to @hondaprojason . Also on display is Honda's latest mini sport vehicle, the Kei Car N-One RS now with 6 speed manual transmission. We also take a look around the gift shop and managed to catch a special show with the now retired ASIMO humanoid robot. On the day we filmed, Dori Dori himself made an appearance and graciously let us take his photo. #keiichitsuchiya #doridori #driftking #honda #hondaracing #hondansx #nsx #nsxgt3 #acura #jdm #jdmgram #jdmcars #jdmculture #jdmlife #jdmdaily #jdmlove Special thanks to t (at Honda World) https://www.instagram.com/p/CIknlcLj_5-/?igshid=icwlx2lzzosz
