A little learning is a dang'rous thing;
Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring:
There shallow draughts intoxicate the brain,
And drinking largely sobers us again.

Today is a new opportunity. Drink deeply. Hello and welcome to the TaoCraft Tarot blog and podcast. I’m glad you are here. Water is life. Literally. Today’s card is the Ace of Cups. Aces are said to hold the essence of their suit. In this case, it is closely tied to water, intuition, romantic relationships, or all close relationships, really. I can’t say there are uncountable metaphors for…

Drink Deeply
These past few months I have been very intentional with my water drinking. Most people do not drink enough water, and even though I love water, it was clear I wasn’t drinking the recommended amount. Drink deeply.
Once I learned that the only thing worth holding onto is Christ, it's amazing how God will make everything else fall into place. He brought me out of the places of hurt and betrayal and into new and unexpected realities I never even fathomed. The tighter I cling to my heavenly Father, the less painful the refining process becomes. He begins to piece by piece, layer by layer, remove the dark sinfulness in me with tender hands and slowly my eyes are opened to His good work around me. He begins to reveal just a glimpse of His plan so that I can know, with unshakable faith, that I am running towards the source of true life. I know that no matter where He takes me post-graduation and whoever is in my life at that point, it will be something more beautiful and breathtaking than I ever imagined. Here I am, God, completely in awe of you and desiring nothing but an intimate relationship with my Creator.
Micah 6:8, "He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
Acts 2:28, "You have made known to me the paths of life; You fill me with joy in Your presence."
