Lori and Lincoln in the Driving Ambition Preview
Some wild, out-of-context screenshots from the promo for next week's episodes that I feel like posting them because they're amusing to me... :D
1) Lori, 2) Leni, 3) Luna, 4) Luan, 5) Lynn, 6) Lincoln, 7) Lucy, 8) Lana, 9) Lola, 10) Lisa, 11) Lily
In Lori’s mind, her future children are images of herself and all her sisters and brother.
Apparently, Lori is so used to these eleven sibling figures, that her mind just “replicates” them when she thinks on the concept of a group of siblings. It could also be a sign that Lori loves her siblings so much that her mind refuses to leave them behind, and this is a way she can take them with her anywhere she goes in life.
If Lori got stranded on a deserted island all by herself, she would use coconuts to make 10 different companions she could talk to.
New episodes released in Russia, today ???
I have just learned on Wikia and Twitter that "Driving Ambition" has already been released in Russia. And maybe also "Predict Ability". There are some scenes a bit 'blurry like these.
In this scene, for example, we see a somewhat frightened and confused Lori, along with an old fat man who is presumably her new husband. At least according to their framed photos on the walls. His theme would be: Lori's nightmare, in being unmarried with Bobby in case if she failed to enter the university of her dreams.
Almost certainly, it is a daydream of Lori, who had panicked during the test exam with the golf coach.
Anyway, I find this picture pretty cute on Lynn Sr and Rita now as old people.
And these photos were perhaps for "predict ability", since they seemed very focused on LIncoln, but I'm not sure
Preview And Thoughts About Upcoming Episodes Of ‘The Loud House’ - Volume 2
It’s been a bit since we last saw a new episode of the Loud House..the awesome special ‘Really Loud Music’ was the last one that aired right after Thanksgiving and the last episode that wasn’t a special ‘Tea Tale Heart’ that aired back in October.
Let’s take a look at the synopsis for each of the episodes that will be airing this week as well as the remaining episodes of Season 3 and I will be sharing my brief thoughts on each.
This Week’s Episodes:
“Predict Ability”
Plot: After discovering he has rituals, Lincoln worries he's predictable and vows to change it up.
Thoughts: I previously shared my thoughts back in the last update several months ago but I didn’t know much about it beyond the basic information. Now that I’ve seen preview clips, it does look like a really interesting episode. Still not sure if it will focus more on Lincoln’s interactions with his friends or his sisters. Hopefully we’ll get a nice mix and the clips so far have been ..interesting to say the least without a lot of context..hehe. And Stella’s back! :)
“Driving Ambition”
Plot: When Lori finds out that the golf coach from her dream college is coming to see her play, she develops the yips.
Thoughts: Based on the clips I’ve seen so far, this is one I’m definitely looking forward to. Lori’s episodes this season have been mostly positive and I have no doubt this trend will continue.
“Home Of The Fave”
Plot: After a pun‐filled trip to the grocery store with Luan and Lola, Dad worries Lola thinks he plays favorites.
Thoughts: This is one of the remaining episodes I’m most looking forward and could very well be my favorite of the upcoming week’s episodes. This is definitely a very fun premise with tons of potential for laugh out loud humor based on the clips so far.
“Hero Today, Gone Tomorrow”
Plot: When Lynn's friend Margo is celebrated for a one‐in-a‐million soccer goal, Lynn has to try and be supportive.
Thoughts: Of all the new episodes coming this week, this is the one I’ve seen the fewest clips from and have gotten the least information about. Based on the synopsis, this episode could go either way. Will be great to see Lynn’s friends again and here’s hoping Lynn’s latest episode is as good as the previous ones this season.
Beyond This Week:
“Cooked!” (Scheduled for February 18th)
Plot: The kids promise to help Dad with the grand opening of his new restaurant by coming up with promotions. But their lack of teamwork and crazy promos lead to an ultimate nightmare in the kitchen for Dad.
Thoughts: Special episode? Check! , Lynn Sr. finally achieving his dream of owning a restaurant? Double check! , Having the whole family involved? Triple check! Definitely looking forward to this one. Should be really fun with a potential for a lot of great humor.
“The Write Stuff”
Plot: When Lucy quits the writing club at school due to the by‐the‐books way Huggins runs the club, Mom takes over.
Thoughts: Definitely an interesting combination of characters and a promising premise. Don’t know much about this one, so will have to wait for this one to air to find out more.
“Racing Hearts”
Plot: When Luna and Sam embark on a scavenger hunt across Royal Woods, they discover they have vastly different styles.
Thoughts: Finally an episode with Sam in a more prominent role outside of the comics. We’ve only seen her once since ‘L Is For Love’ and that was a non-speaking role in ‘Friendzy’. Episodes focusing on Luna are always fun and hopefully we can learn more about Sam. We’ll have to see how this one turns out but I am looking forward to seeing what happens between them.
“Stage Plight”
Plot: Hoping to get closer to her crush, Benny, Luan tries out for the school play.
Thoughts: This is one of the episodes I’m looking forward to the most. Luan’s last focused episode (”Head Poet’s Anxiety”) was amazing so I have high hopes for this one. Not to mention the return of her crush Benny from ‘L Is For Love’
“Antiqued Off”
Plot: When Clyde and schoolmate Zach begin bonding over a mutual interest in antiques, Lincoln quickly finds himself feeling like a third wheel.
Thoughts: Of the remaining episodes, this is one the one I’m least looking forward to. I’m pretty lukewarm on episode that focus on Lincoln’s friends other than Clyde. Still I’m willing to give this episode a chance and it could surprise me. :)
Definitely an interesting set of upcoming episodes. :) Here’s how I rank them so far based on the plots:
Top Tier (Episodes I’m looking forward to the most):
“Stage Plight”
“Home Of The Fave”
“Racing Hearts”
“Cooked!”
“Driving Ambition”
Second Tier (Episodes that look fun) :
“Predict Ability”
Third Tier (Wait and see until they air)
“Hero Today, Gone Tomorrow”
“The Write Stuff”
“Antiqued Off”
And that’s my thoughts on the remaining ‘Loud House’ episodes for Season 3. No information on Season 4 episodes yet..when we do find out, I will share my thoughts on them. :) Hope you like my list and let me know what you think. Stay tuned to this page for more Loud House posts in the future.
This post was almost a bogey on my part, but I still managed to make par getting it out before the day's end.
Not gonna lie, if we "ever" get a Loud House video game, it must have a golfing section (I'll even settle for mini golf).
Lori Loud is making tremendous strides on the golf course, and it is those strides that "putt" her in the running to get into her dream college, Fairway University (obvious name is obvious)! All she has to do is impress a scout that's coming by to see her skills in action. Unfortunately, it seems the pressure is really getting to her, making her miss and lose. Now it's up to Lori to get her head in the game, and sink to win.
Getting "REALLY" difficult for me not to make any references to Mario Golf in this. I know Lori has had "a lot" of focus episodes, but this one was kinda needed. We never really got to see how Lori plays golf in the 3 seasons this show's been airing, with only a few mentions to her athletic skills here and there. Here, we see just how good she can really be........and how easily pressured she can get. I did like how her siblings helped her get her nerves in order, which, with golf, is quite the difference maker in one's game. Yet another layer of Lori's character has been explored this episode, and with the very heartfelt moment with the parents near the end, makes this an episode worth rewatching in my eyes.
Also, Lori's dream sequence........yeeeaaahhh, that was a few weeks of fanart to scroll through waiting for this episode to reach the U.S.
Up next is "Home of the Fave", Lola and.....Lynn Sr. in the spotlight? Huh.......this should be very interesting. Until next time.
The Loud House-Driving Ambition Recap
Lori is having trouble with golfing. Spoilers below.
Have I ever told you guys that Lori and Lincoln are my favorite sibling pairing in TLH? Because they are.
I loved seeing them together in Driving Ambition. Having Lincoln be Lori’s caddy and supporting her on the golf field meant so much to me. I know it’s my bias towards their relationships with Bobby and Ronnie Anne, but I’ve wanted them interacting in an episode for so long and I’m so happy I got it.
