https://youtube.com/live/NB4XJ7sa01Y
The North American XB-70 Valkyrie was a prototype strategic bomber developed for the U.S. Air Force in the late 1950s. A true marvel of engineering, it was designed to be the ultimate nuclear bomber, capable of flying at Mach 3 (three times the speed of sound) at altitudes of 70,000 feet. Built from stainless steel and titanium to withstand extreme heat, the six-engined Valkyrie could fold its wingtips to ride its own shockwave, a concept known as compression lift. Though the program was canceled after a tragic accident and shifting military priorities, the two prototypes built provided invaluable research for future supersonic aircraft.
