First of all: hooray! I am so delighted that you're interested in the kink memes!
(For those unfamiliar with them, here is the Dropout RPF kink meme and here is the Dimension 20 kink meme)
The basics of a kink meme is that people leave prompts for stories and others fill them. That's it, that's the heart of it. The prompts are often, but not always, related to sex or kink in some way.
You can fill as many prompts as you'd like. On the RPF kink meme, you can leave up to 50 prompts. (I think that was the maximum I could set it to.)
If you see a prompt you like, you can click Claim on it. You can see your claimed prompts in the My Claims tab. To fulfill a prompt, you can click Fulfill on the prompt or when you go to post a new work, you'll have the option to fulfill a claim under Associations.
You can leave prompts and post fills anonymously. If you don't know how to post anonymously, read this guide. If you want to make your prompt anonymous, check the "Semi-anonymous Prompt?" box in the prompt form. Make sure you read about the limitations of anonymity in prompt memes on AO3 (scroll down to "Anonymous prompt fills").
