One of our chickens started laying eggs! It took her a good 6 days to lay 5! (Totally normal..) Of course... it doesn’t take a genius to notice that there are only 4 eggs in this picture! That’s because... I dropped the first one! Me! It wasn’t my kids fault. I didn’t trip. I just... dropped it. And you know what. It was ok. The shell and membrane on store bought eggs are way thinner. It was sad that I dropped it. But it didn’t crack completely and we just ate it right away. . How often do you drop the egg and it seems like everything falls apart? Maybe sometimes it really does but... mostly it’s just our thinking and our own guilt that is causing that reaction. Sometimes... you CAN drop and egg and everything WILL be ok. It may take time.
