A lake in the Des Moines area reached its lowest level ever. That lake is the water source for several communities, which may now have to implement water restrictions.
It was raining so hard this morning that in the minute it took for me to walk from my car into work I was soaked to the point of dripping. The rain was bouncing off the pavement like hail. It was GLORIOUS.
