Hearing that his sister was in the hospital was the worst thing that Abraham had ever heard. He barely stopped at stop signs and he wasn't even sure how he made it to the hospital in one piece, but he did. He wasn't sure if his parents had been in to visit her and when he got to the front desk, he didn't even ask if anyone else was visiting her. All he wanted to know what room she was in. The nurse barely got the number out before he sprinted down the hallway to her room. "D?" He stepped into her room and seeing her laying in the hospital bed almost brought the man to his knees. "D- Di, what the fuck happened?" And he didn't say it in a way that indicated that he was angry with her but rather grateful that she was still alive.

ABOUT.
They’re a native to New York and grew up in Staten Island.
Product of a possible one-night stand who was treated like crap by their mother from birth. She didn’t want them, had planned to get rid of them and made that clear each and every day. The cops were constantly getting called to their place because of the continual screaming and shouting.
At 7 they found their mum’s drug stash which suddenly explained why they had no money even though she was working all the time. It explained a lot.
Shortly after that they were joined by a younger sister, who their mom seemed to want this time. ( It became clear around that time that Lucian and their sister's possible father was actually their mother's dealer, but never actually confirmed whether they shared the same father or not. )
They threw themselves into school. They were a bit of a brainiac. Math club, constant tutoring of other students, anything to keep them away from home.
By the time high school had come to an end they’d found a passion for activism and spent all their time in the city involved in protests. Constantly spent their time clashing with the cops, chaining themselves to buildings and locked away for the night after peaceful protests ended up violent.
At around 21 they came out as genderfluid. They’d never fit in any kind of box anyway. Started going by they/them, something that has stuck ever since.
They spent the rest of their time working in bars, coffee shops, restaurants (whatever brought the money in) and a local homeless shelter.
Attempted a relationship for the first time. Failed. It lasted a couple of years but ended when they let them get dragged off by the cops without helping at all. They are a bit of a hopeless romantic deep down, but have never really felt they deserve love because of how they were treated by their mother when growing up.
Spent the next couple of years flitting back and forth between LA and New York constantly, unable to settle. Picked up a bit of a love for surfing while in Cali that they’ve not really been able to give up.
Moved back to New York permanently around six years ago after receiving a phone call from their younger sibling, who told them their mother had overdosed. Despite everything they still came running to take care of them both.
Picked up a job at a bar again pretty quickly, needing money to support themselves and their mother and sister, something they never thought they’d be doing. They live in an apartment away from them though, choosing to settle in Queens and near the beach, there was no way they were staying in the same house as their mom ever again.
The bartending eventually led to escort work… something they hadn’t expected. But they actually kind of loved it, even if it was complicated sometimes. They mostly dealt with guys looking for a good time or middle-aged women hunting for someone young to flash around the city. It wasn't ideal, but it supported the lifestyle they were trying to hold down.
Around four years ago they were forced to give up their newly found job after a weekend away with a client turned into disaster. Their mental health took a small dip because of it and in the end, they made a move back to working at the homeless shelter, which eventually led to them becoming the leader there. They still work at Glow a couple of nights a week, unable to let that go.
Lucian is a vegan and has been for the past ten years. It's one of the few things they're actually pretty quiet about. For them it's a way of life, but they consider it a choice for everyone else and don't care if people eat meat around them.
Despite being ridiculously broken, they have a lot of love to give and consider their close friends their family.
They're rarely home and don't sleep much. Most of the time you'll find them doing extra work at the shelter.
Don't know if you're aware but they're Goncharov-ing this Alvin and the Chipmunks parody band that covers 80's pop songs slowed down instead of sped up. Like, there's many stories of wild shows they played and Alvin overdosed on heroin

BIOGRAPHY.
Jay was the second son to two drug addicts who couldn’t get the devil to loosen their grips from them. His brother, Kade was twelve when he was born and took over that role of parent, taking care of him.
In the early years of Jay’s life, his relationship with his brother was close. He did everything he could to try to lighten the load on his brother but being as young as he was there was only so much he could do and whenever his father lost his temper, Kade was the one who got the most blows and their mother was the one that held Jay back.
When Jay was around the age of ten, Kade left the house and never returned. So, he did what he could to step up and take over the house. He cleaned, made sure the bills got paid, did his homework and made sure his parents made it through each day.
He did his best to stay out of his dad’s way, by crashing at his friend’s house. This best friend had been one of those friendships that saved him from having to deal with the wrath and fists of his old man.
When he was working part time at his uncle’s convenience store, he came home one evening to find his mother on the couch, deceased. Everything else was packed up and it looked like someone left in a hurry. He called the paramedics then his uncle. He sat in the chair and watched as the scene played by and then his uncle ended up packing up his things and taking him out of the house.
It would only go down hill from there when he got caught sneaking out of his best friend's twin sister's room by his friend. The two of them got into a massive fight and when Jay walked out, the two of them stopped talking after that.
He focused on getting out of high school and his part-time job after that. Art was easier than people. That’s pretty much how he chopped it up, it was easy to have no one close to him than a million people close to him so he kept people at arms length.
Others have described them as confident & seductive, but also addictive & destructive.
sawyer was born in the lively city of new york, her mother and father had only been together for a few weeks when her mother got pregnant and they seemed to make it work… at least until sawyer was two.
her mother decided she couldn’t be a mom anymore and packed her things, leaving them behind… at least that’s the story her father has always told her.
it didn’t start seeping out right away, her father’s addiction to alcohol and how mean he could get when he had a few too many… at first he was a dedicated father. dressing her the best he could for school and dropping her off at the door but as she got older and more self sufficient, his addiction worsened.
she never told anyone that she was basically the adult in her house, her father lost his job and was doing shady things to make sure his addiction was covered. she was picking him up at bars when she was twelve.
her saving grace through all of it was ?, ? and his family always made her forget what was going on at home.
the two of them were inseparable even going far enough to go on summer vacations together to marina.
as soon as she graduated, her father gradually allowed his drunken anger to get worse.
but the best thing to happen was when she was twenty-three, when her and ? decided to give dating a shot. she thought maybe if she had him she could handle anything.
at least until two years into their relationship when somehow her father found out she wasn’t actually his kids and attacked her.
an attack that lead her to telling ? over the phone she had a business opportunity in chicago and she was hoping he would support her last minute decision… which he did.
in chicago was supposed to be her mom, she tracked her down. when she got to chicago and showed up on the front porch, her mother lost it. she told her to get lost and not to come back because she didn’t want her kids and husband to find out she had another kid.
it’s when her and ? became distant and when she met (tbd) who sold her the drugs that would lead her down a path she couldn’t come back from.
? thought the distance was a lot and she agreed, the two of them agreed to remain friends and the only times the pain and reality of losing him to this degree was only felt when she was sober she never let herself be.
she spent a looooot of time in a drug haze, barely making it by. she was in and out of being sober, her relationship with her drug dealer slowly changing.
the two of them ended up partying together one night which started the romance that took a chokehold over her.
they spent most of their time in a drug haze, partying, having sex, doing drugs, it was a consistent routine.
at least until a few months ago, she overdosed in their motel room. all he did was call the ambulance and hit the road.
she woke up in the hospital alone, refusing to answer any question and packed her bags, little does she know what truly happened to her.
55 years ago Brian Epstein the manager for the Beatles passed away at 32. He was a manager and a music entrepreneur until his passing. He said one day he's going to get married. Sadly he never saw that day as he passed away at the young age of 32 due to accidental drug overdose on August 27th, 1967. May he be resting easy.
Twitter was advertising The Conners to me, and I was like, what is that?? Turns out after Roseanne Barr posted a racist tweet, they wrote Roseanne off her own show with an OPIOID OVERDOSE and started a spinoff about the rest of the family

TW DEATH TW DRUGS
Hi everyone just a couple days ago my cousin died of a drug overdose. He’s been really struggling and we thought he was doing a little better but now he’s left behind a young daughter and his father is collecting donations for funeral expenses. With the job that my uncle is working I know he can’t afford a real funeral on his own and he’s divorced from the woman that abused my cousin, Cody. He was just a year older than me. We grew up so close. Please help my family 🙏🙏🙏 if you can’t donate please share this post. I’m so broken about this.
