Finally moving out of our parent's house. Extremely portentous circumstances: The apartment complex is run by an angel of a woman, very affordable, located right next to a bus stop, an exit onto the main highway, and is 1 mile from the nearest branch of the company I work for and will be transferring to. And being a city, everything we could want is much closer, including a vibrant art community!

[okay this one was a med student] "Wowwww, that's so gross!!" Reg: ""[xxx], "Please remember that the patient is awake for this procedure." Student to patient: "Oh my god. I am so sorry, that was really unprofessional - " Patient, cheerfully, also engrossed with what's happening inside them on the screen: "Nah - it's, like, super gross, right?"
[another procedure where the patient couldn't be anaesthetised] Patient: *starts singing country roads midway through the procedure* Surgeon: *shrugs and joins in with surprisingly good harmony*
My hot take is that teenagers pushing the boundaries on what media is acceptable for them to consume is healthy. Teens should watch fucked up movies. You lose the stomach for that stuff when you get older
