I've followed you for so long, it's hard to choose my top 20, let alone top 3, favorite stories! But: A Royal Christmas Engagement, the Supersaturation verse, and going ALL THE WAY BACK to Dirty Trousers. I adored DT, and my favorite aunt (who passed away 4 years ago) loved it too, and every time you updated DT whoever saw it first would call the other to let them know there was a new chapter. I was in the chair re-reading your HP stuff while I was getting a memorial tattoo for her 🥰

oh wow, Dirty Trousers… I love that you had that, that makes me feel so good.  I literally just wrote that every day on the train to work, I had no idea what was going to happen, but it was so cool to write it like that. I keep thinking I should move it to AO3, but I don’t think it’d work as well without the serial format. Idk, maybe someday.

FOB love song: my vote goes to Alone Together. "I don't know where you're going but do you have room for one more troubled soul/I don't know where I'm going but I don't think I'm coming home/and I said I'll check in tomorrow if I don't end up dead/This is the road to ruin and we're starting at the end" Like, none of their songs are particularly romantic, but this is a song that speaks to me about going through the worst of and with somebody and wanting to stick around for the whole thing anyway.

What's your favorite childhood nickname?

Ha, wow, I had so many nicknames when I was little.  I don’t know if I exactly have a favorite, but the weirdest one is “Dugan.” My brother has called me Dugan for like 30 years.  He’s the only one who calls me Dugan. I still have absolutely no idea where he got it from, it’s not remotely like my first, middle or last name.
