landon walked over to mari, turned around to look at the performer on stage ❝ do you think they can do real magic? pretty much of these performers are fake from what i have seen before ❞ he had seen real magic many times. these were just some tricks, they claimed to be magic.
MARI WAS SILENT FOR A MOMENT, WATCHING THE PERFORMERS ON STAGE PLAY OUT THEIR NEXT ACT. after all the weird stuff she had seen in the last couple months, she often wasn't sure what was real and what was fake. however, this? clearly fake. "doubt it. this is all the same dumb tricks every 'magician' does at these type of shows." she answered, shoulders lifting and falling into a lazy shrug. "do you think it's real? or do you think it's just another fake?"
Mickey looked at the other for a moment and raised an eyebrow at him, giving a shrug. "Okay, I am choosing to believe you right now, so what will it be?"
MYUNGGI HAD TO STOP HIMSELF FROM ROLLING HIS EYES, THE MAN IN FRONT OF HIM ALREADY ANNOYING HIM. he reminded him a little of thanos with the way he seemed to jump to instant confrontation. "right ... tequila and ginger ale." he answered, deciding he'd stick with only one drink tonight.
"I did, yeah" it was a very blunt question to ask but he had no issue being honest about how he had turned up here. Nodding while he listened to him, he sighed. "I am sorry that you have gone through some stuff. I don't mean to assume but it sounds like you haven't had it easy"
IT WAS ALMOST TEMPTING TO ASK HOW, BUT MYUNGGI REFRAINED. his goal was to mostly keep to himself but also get answers. something he could do without inserting himself into everyone's business. "that's ... rough. i'm sorry, man." perhaps rough wasn't the proper word but nothing else was coming to mind. "it's fine. i brought a lot of it on myself so can't be mad at the end of the day."
Ji Na smiles. "Oh that is so nice. You have a deal for sure."
MYUNGGI RETURNED THE SMILE, NODDING. "pleasure doing business with you then."

"INTERNATIONAL POPSTAR? ARE YOU IN A GROUP?" myunggi asked as he glanced at the girl, trying to place her face in any of the music videos he had seen. "tragic that you have to wait, but i'm sure you'll recover."

"OKAY, JOINING THE COMMUNITY SOCCER TEAM -- GOOD IDEA OR BAD IDEA?" mari questioned the other, lips pressed together as she debated it as if it were the biggest decision she'd ever make. "is it cheesy to join community teams? like, how many cool points would i be losing here? be honest."
Louie smiles. "Actually, I'm just about to post my latest review. If you'd like a sneak peak, I can show you a bit of the review?"
"YOU KNOW WHAT? SURE." not like myunggi had much else planned for the afternoon so he had all the time in the world to kill.

"SERIOUS QUESTION, BUT WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENS IF YOU DIE HERE?" mari had been pondering it for a hot minute now, finally giving a voice to the thought. "like, i know this place brings people back at least once. i mean, i totally got my ass kicked and hunted but then woke up here. do you think it'd bring someone back a second time or is one the limit?"
"Oh, no, I'm not dumb" Satana said, making a face. "But thanks for the advice."
MYUNGGI LET OUT A SOUND, SOMETHING HALFWAY BETWEEN A LAUGH AND A SCOFF. at least the girl was aware. "mhm, of course. i'm myunggi, by the way. didn't mean to talk your ear off about that stuff."
"I mean, I've tried to help him because I knew he wasn't like the other two idiots, I've noticed he was more retreated and he tried to help me with Namgyu, but it didn't worked out" Semi said with a shrug.
"I THINK THOSE TWO IDIOTS WERE IN A WORLD OF THEIR OWN WITH ALL THE DRUGS THEY WERE DOING IN THERE." myunggi shrugged, thoughts on the cross necklace that namgyu had been so obsessed with. how that had slipped past the guards was beyond him but he didn't care too much to question it. "maybe you'll get lucky and he'll show up here. this place has a weird way of bringing people back. i mean, that much is obvious. just look at you and me."
(¸.• ♛ → she just felt this warm feeling, it's been a while and she used to feel safe when she was like that next to him before, and in the games was different and now, now maybe she was starting to feel like that again. he was familiar, the feelings were there of course, it was impossible for them to just go away that easily, she just couldn't help it, it was impossible not to care, but she was trying to move on, however, she was glad they were able to be out and now finally starting new. "good..." she muttered, now pulling away just a bit but close enough to still feel the warm of his body, looking up at him. "maybe...it's a bit silly of me but i want to put my trust in you one more time so i will do that." she says, looking into his eyes. "everything now here needs to be...different, i'm hoping that it has to be."
MYUNGGI'S GAZE LINGERED ON HER, HEAVY WITH EVERYTHING UNSAID BETWEEN THEM. he had spent so much time in the games just watching her, not being able to step up and save her or her daughter, but he wanted things to be different this time because no matter what people said or what his actions showed, he really did love her. "junhee..." he spoke softly, as if afraid speaking any louder would break the fragile thread she was extending to him. "it will be different, i promise. i know i don't deserve another chance after what i did to you in the games, after what we went through, but i want to earn it by proving to you that it'll be different. this -- us -- doesn't have to be like before. it shouldn't." he brushed a hand along his own arm, as if to ground himself. "you have my word."

"Are you going to apologize?" she asked, the man now upside down as she smirked while he muttered out a pathetic 'I'm sorry'. "Alright, good enough," she sighed as she dropped him, practically on his head. "Men these days, I swear"
MYUNGGI HAD WATCHED THE ENTIRE INTERACTION, UNPHASED BY THE USE OF POWERS. he'd been in washington long enough to know that there were people among them that possessed such abilities. "what'd he do?" he questioned as the man was dropped, unable to help the amusement that had bled in.
"Okay, thank you. I just wanted to know if it have too much pepper" Sunny explained to the other.
"OH, OKAY..." myunggi nodded as he glanced at the other. "are you allergic or just don't like it?"

"DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT SUCKS BEING A HUMAN HERE?" mari sighed, not entirely serious. "all these people with cool powers and all i got was ... resurrected? i don't even think that's a power. that's just some weird voodoo shit." she glanced at the other girl, "okay, i'm kidding but i'm also still lowkey jealous. you don't have any powers, do you?"

"OKAY, TOTALLY HYPOTHETICAL SITUATION HERE BUT..." mari began, fingers tapping against her chin as if deep in thought, "say you were trapped in the woods with a bunch of weirdos that you thought were your friends and they like, went totally insane and hunted you down to please some wilderness god or whatever. but then somehow you came back to life. would you forgive the bitches or would you hold a grudge?" she glanced at the stranger, knowing she probably sounded insane to him. "like i said, hypothetical. none of this happened for real."
