A long time ago, back when @drzime and I were younger and maybe not as wise, she made this webcomic. The story itself is about a soldier who returns home to his rural community and ends up falling in love with an ingenue who has memory problems. This waif ends up helping him move on from his brother's death, which he has some serious PTSD over. Oh, and did I mention all the characters in this story are animals?

This webcomic is one of the Internet's hidden gems. It's kind of a shame it never became a graphic novel, because it has a very literary quality. I could easily see it on the New York Times bestseller list. Of course, getting it to a publisher is no easy feat and there's quite a bit of a hassle, but I feel that this would be worth it.
