My story board here shows my stop motion through a conveyor belt, it shows all the stages of the mass production process of the cubes travelling on the conveyor. The story board also shows the cubes crumbling in to scrunched paper showing the transfer from virtual to reality and fitting into everyday life, shown by the hand picking up the Ipod.
Final Clip

This is my first edit using actual photographs of the project. Due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to project my clip as originally planned. I instead decided to photograph my clip on the television which resulted in a nice aesthetic.
When rebuilding my clip with photographs I looked at the idea of using a combination of both photographs and my original digital images. The images looked similar when played back but were still distinct when viewed as still images. I then looked at the idea of playing the clip inside itself. I thought the result was interesting, and it gave the impression that you were watching the clip being projected, but it was probably too dramatic a departure from the original aesthetic. Also of note is that in a final edit before photographing the translation of "a new way of seeing" appears regularly throughout the clip every time a note sounds and at the end the english translation is shown, again giving this sense of evolution and cohesion. My hope is that the viewer starts to associate the japanese symbols with the english phrase and the title card and forms their own idea of what is meant by "a new way of seeing."
In this edit I have distorted some frames to coincide with the heavy claps in the audio. I have also blurred later frames to match the heavy distortion at around 0:18-0:21
The basis of my clip is now finished. In part 3 I've looked at the ideas of the similarities between shapes and symbols, scale and rotation. Another reason I chose this piece of audio is that it provided both a start and end point and gave a satisfying conclusion. As the clip goes on, more and more of the main images in the clip start to flash in between frames. It almost draws influence from itself in the way it evolves. From here I'd like to edit the animation so that it interacts with the audio a little more.
