i think im getting sick and i have an exam tomorrow i want to cry

episode 2 and 3 season 2

so i watched these with the bf and that seemed to have eliminated the desire to write these rants. maybe it really is a stand-in for wanting to share what I’m watching with someone....

Anyway. I did have to note: WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO FINN AND BELLAMY??? it’s like they switched souls??? wtf was that??? When did Bellamy have a moment of remorse over torturing Lincoln that he doesn’t want to repeat it?

Is Finn acting like this because he’s like: yea the war has already begun lots of ppl are ded, Clarke might be being tortured/killed, so a bid for peace and no bloodshed is a lost cause? Last semester he was conflicted about killing people on the bridge even when they were already attacking, he felt bad about killing a Reaper trying to kill them. And now he shoots a dude in cold blood. Bellamy is suddenly trying to calm HIM. (wtf happened to Bellamy?)

I really appreciate how the show re-iterates that torture/threats is not a good or reliable way AT ALL to get information out of someone.

also Raven is such a hardcore badass what the FUCK. Yeah just do surgery on my spine without aneasthetic that’s fine. JEZUS FUCKIGN CHRIST. and so selfless, she’s like ah yeah just went through hell, got crippled will have to deal with all that shit but Finn, my family, best friend, the one i love most, my only real support, you should go get Clarke and the others back.

I always so happy to see the love between Finn and Raven. Clarke/Finn/Raven is the ONE love triangle ever that I’ve actually enjoyed? Because they are all super sympathetic and try to act respectfully and according to what they feel.

also Clarke is such a hardcore paranoid badass she RIPPED her STITCHES OUT just to be able to keep checking out the patient ward (I could not watch). I enjoyed her no-time-for-relaxation something-is-so-fucking-wrong rampage SO MUCH. She’s such a damaged, driven, crazy kid.

Kane was being such a bitch again. shock tasing Abby in a bid for crowd-control. All the ‘internal control’ sacrifices just seem so ungrounded to me.

I wonder if it really is too much to ask to humanise the crowd.... they did better this season but I mean is it just impossible? To not simply lift some faces from the crowd that I’ve never seen before? and have the rest of them  labour away in the background with no indication of direction until they gotta listen up for a speech or burst into violence? Abby was like: see if he’s got family. YOU WERE WITH 2000 people on the ARk. that’s 500 families perhaps. That’s less than a decently sized village. you should KNOW these people. We should know these people.

Of course Kane was right with his diplomacy mission, but maybe he should have communicated a little with his ‘underlings’ including Abby. As always ARK leaders fail on their lack of communication.

also Indra so fucking horrible haha. Like all Grounders really. Anya sucks (tho her attack on the Mountain soldiers was damn cool). It all makes sense but slamming into such a wall of hostility is like fffffuck. Nyko is awesome.

And I am so glad that at least INDRA knew that Octavia was following them. like SERIOUSLY, the grounders have grown up in and LIVED the woods, how the heck could Octavia have eluded them? She couldn’t have. (but whatever). Octavia is such a badass though wow wtf. She’s like spring, fresh brave resilient. I am very glad how we got to see that the Grounders warrior’d up against the Reapers and them hugging the people they freed.

Guh.

I have some much acne on my back, man. And I have this aggravated zit on my lower back near my spine. It's tender as fuck. And it magnified my back fatigue levels a bit, too.

I know part of it's me fussing with it so much. But still.

I would scrub the area down better if I bothered to take the scrubber with me into the grandparents' guest bath for this past month or so's showers. It's kind of a moot point now.

Now, I just can't wait till we get our fuckin' well operational again. (And as a reminder, thigs look pretty good now, I know we have been approved for the loan and in the next few days the check is expected to arrive.)
