Ok so I’ve kinda alluded to the fact that I really don’t care for the dteam and that’s mostly bc of all of their controversies and more specifically how they responded to them. Idk maybe if they still did what they did and actually responded and apologized in a genuine and responsible manner I’d be a bit more open minded but every time they’ve gotten into something they immediately jump on the defensive and try to dismiss or downplay their actions while delivering a half assed apology.

Even if they didn’t get into so many controversies though I still don’t think I would like them very much and that’s bc at the bottom of every list of reasons to dislike them there’s the point that they’re all just… kinda assholes. They remind me of those dickish jocks from high school who just wouldn’t know when they jokes gone to far.

dream in particular I fully believe needs to learn when to stfu. Every single time someone comes for him in the slightest he always, ALWAYS has to bite back even though it only ever gets him in deeper shit. It’s like he’s so insecure he doesn’t know how to let nasty words go. Yeah he’s human and they can still hurt but not every little bit of hate is worth coming back at. He also takes literally zero responsibility for the way his fans react to this. He has such a HUGE following of young and impressionable kids and he really needs to take that into account when responding to hate. Yeah obviously he doesn’t have control over others actions but also his actions have heavy influence over others, and he really needs to be aware of that and choose his actions wisely.

As for George and sapnap the way they’ve treated others on the smp really rubs me the wrong way. Remember when they fucked around with things that were important to Erets lore and then when she politely asked them to stop they read out her message ON STREAM and made fun of her for it. Their recent comments on the way lore was organized on the smp and the way they were ignored so badly only makes this incident worse in hind sight. It’s school yard bully shit and is super immature. I’m also just not over sapnap using AIDS as an insult. Yeah he apologized and I’m sure it’s genuine but I just hate how easily it slipped out of his mouth. As someone who has lost family to AIDS I can’t just let that incident go.

Overall obviously their repeated controversy puts me off heavily from them, but even if they were absolutely perfect and never got into controversy at all I’d probably still dislike them simply for being dicks.

I think, at least for me, there’s this kind of big issue that just doesn’t end with the dteam (mostly dream and sapnap from what I know, although I don’t often pay attention to them). Like it seems that often they do things just because they can, because they’re the top dogs on the server, online, etc. They don’t need to stop doing anything, because they have a strong fan base backing their every move. I too am all for improv lore, but if Eret specifically told them to please stop and they just… didn’t, that’s just bullying, not lore. And it’s not like oh tubbo and Ranboo fans will be mad, no, that’s kind of a moot point. This is two big name creators refusing to communicate with their fellow cc’s. You would think that by now they would know when to take a step back, but clearly not. And it redoubles the hate and mockery towards eret, and yes we don’t know the whole story and never will but it’s safe to assume that it’s just another layer between the “big” creators and “small” creators. Idk I’m just super annoyed by this, and kind of came into your asks to rant about it. Feel free not to post this tho it’s a lot.

no literally 😭 like i hate making assumptions or getting defensive for other cc's feelings bc theyre grown ppl who dont need that and they talk off stream etc etc but like even not on a personal level, their blatant dismissal of eret's lore (and sam and tubbo and techno and even ranboo's) for the sake of a laugh is just really shitty rp etiquette too. theyre showing very little consideration for fans who are invested in the storyline that they, as members of the server, have taken part in building, largely because they know their monster of a fanbase will be tripping over themselves to come to their defense. i think if hannah killed micheal she'd have to log off twitter for three weeks.

and YES a lot of lore has started off as a joke. the supreme fridge is my blog header. but this is by no no no means the start of this plotline??? this is making an existing serious plotline (that they ARE NOT PART OF) into a joke because they cant show any respect for the hard work of their colleagues?? i feel like im playing pretend on the 3rd grade playground.

and the timing??? people have been begging for lore (a hype the creators themselves are responsible for and now making fun of), and there was finally a promised stream this weekend about this lore with michael, and they choose now to fuck with it? literally what

I avoid making my own posts like the plague at this point but 1) wheres the clip of the dteam making fun of eret’s lore and apparently reading an ooc message sent to them live on stream in a mocking tone (which dont get me wrong, is a shit move i just want the clip regardless) and 2) Why are my beloved streamers being little bitches who allowed this
