rewatching the first season of drive to survive really drives home how much has changed since 2018.

fernando was basically holding mclaren hostage and he "retired"

esteban was with force india and vijay still "owned" the team

force india went into administration and stroll saved them

kimi was at ferrari

charles was at alfa which was still called sauber

hulk and carlos were teammates at renault

daniel signed for renault and basically caused the 2nd seat crisis at RB

stoffel and brendon were still in f1

lance was at williams

cyril and christian had the most petty fight over engines and drivers

every single time I watch drive to survive and get to the charles episode, i look at him so confused as to why a year of difference makes him look SO YOUNG in 2018.
