Grew up making religion my entire life
Left that religion and refused to let any faith consume me
Overcomes my anxiety and starts my personal practice in general witchcraft
Starts working with Lady Isis, falls in love with kemeticism
But now, the hard part. Taking back down the strict walls I put up when my childhood religion wounded me. It is not a failure if I want my life to be for the gods. Because it is for me, for my health and wellbeing. It is what makes me happy, not a pastor or my family. It is okay if I'm more comfortable with a rigid religious structure, because it is for me. And the Netjeru want what is best for their child, not what will give them the most praise. And that is why I adore and worship them, so much more than the one before.
Thank you, Lady Isis, Father Ra, Just Ma'at. Thank you for setting me free ♡
