The King of Carlisle Bridge watches over his domain. I've always loved the lights on O'Connell Bridge in Dublin. It's easy to imagine what the city would have been like in ye olden days. There was a poem we learned at school about 'Fearr Lasta Lampai', the man who would go round the streets of Dublin at night, lighting up the gas lamps to light the city.
