Peter Porker, The Spectacular Spider-Ham #1 (Skeates/Armstrong, May 1985). Ducktor Doom recruits a court of kangaroos to judge… rock music? For some reason?
DUCKVEMBER 25: Maniacal Duck
I love the old school Spider-Ham comics so much, guys. The designs are charming in a derpish way.
Holy shit this is a book for children, why are there so many words on this page... and all of it is there for the “The boy suddenly decided to hate me a month ago and I don’t know why and I can’t ask his mother why because she has been imprisoned by me for four weeks now” joke.
This book is riffing on the stuff going on with Doom and Kristoff in the main books.

When there’s a new world to conquer...there you will find Ducktor Doom 2099!
Fly, my duck-bots! Find for me the finest bits of bread! The clearest pools to paddle around in! Let any resistance slide off your backs! Fly! Fly!
Huh. Okay. So I’m gonna head home then. Because I don’t think you need me for this one.
