I really like the concept of duelism so here's my perspective on delusim
Duelism is a psychophor topic speaking about the consciousness being separated from the body. I like this theory as it makes sense to me.
Especially since energy cannot be destroyed nor created, where would one's consciousness go? Well, I believe that duelism explains what would happen well no matter if you believe heaven/hell, past lives, reincarnation, etc.
I feel that it has to go somewhere, right? It cannot suddenly disappear. I believe that duelism would explain this by following the concept of immortality i.e taking consciousness out of the body after death and going somewhere else depending on what you believe.
I also like the idea of duelism as being aware doesn't require a brain nor body. It only takes being aware you exist inheritently.
While materism would defend stating that the consciousness wouldn't exist without the brain, inheritently I would like to back up the fact that consciousness has been known to change forms.
What I mean is out of body experiences before and in and out of death. I'd also like to include other experiences such as reality shifting and also knowledge itself.
That might sound confusing by what I mean by knowledge itself. I mean knowledge that you absolutely shouldn't have. For example, we always know the correct answer on a test deep down but we can't dig it out normally. Moreover on that topic, we also tend to not pay attention and we'd be absolutely confused by a question and our inner knowledge knows. I explain this as the fact I originally was all of knowing or otherwise a god before I accidentally got stuck in a mortal body.
Anyway, we're not here to speak about that. I have nothing else to really add to this but our own beliefs which we're leaving our for now. Anyway, I hope somebeing enjoyed listening to our rant about duelism
