Asuka landed on the sand flat on her face with a ‘whumph!’. She lay where she had landed for a beat, and then pushed herself up into a sitting position. 

So that was new. She’d never been transported like that before. Or to where... Wherever she was now. Did the Synchro Dimension have beaches? She was pretty sure they didn’t. And really, did this look like Synchro? Where were all the swooping runways and the motorbikes? 

She glanced down at her Duel Disk. Ugh... That was probably filled with sand now. At least she could radio someone for help. Or... Maybe not. All the frequencies were just static... Huh. Seemed like today was really out to get her. Still, she had legs - maybe she could find someone and find out where she was. As long as she hadn’t warped herself into Fusion, of course! But really, what were the chances of that?

      He had watched this duel expecting to see a Red Eyes come into play. He wanted to see how this other duelist handled the dragon that the deadbeat he knew handled in duels. But much to his surprise, it wasn’t a Red Eyes Black Dragon that caught his eye.

                           It was the Shinobirds.

       For a moment, all he could see was someone else on the field, working those majestic birds. . . But in the blink of an eye, it was all back to normal.

           He’d wait until the duel was over, of course, to approach Fubuki.

                           “Manjoume’s told me about you.”
