But two hours of sweeping and weeding and being mildly social is hard on an introvert body like mine. Think I’ll do nothing productive for the rest of the day. Yup. That sound good.

Set up a walk-a-thon for your community. Hand out pledge sheets to your active supporters. Those participating in the walk-a-thon will collect money from friends and family to support them on the walk. All money collected will go to the team.

Silent auction

Have team members go out in the community to get donations for prizes for a silent auction. Sell tickets for a specific amount of money. Draw tickets to see who wins the prize. Tickets can be sold at games or during other fundraisers events set up for the team.

Sponsorships

Reach out to local communities and see if you can get a few companies to sponsor the team. The team gets needed funds and sponsors get free advertising. Have the team set up a car wash preferably in a high traffic area. People always need to wash their cars so this fundraiser has a potential to make alot of money. Set a standard fee. People are more likely to support a good cause if they are receiving a benefit for their participation.

Rent-an-athlete

This fundraiser allows the team to get money while members in the community get the opportunity to have odd jobs done. Team members rent out their time in the community for a cost. Athletes can help mow grass, paint sheds or help clean out garages. The team can create a list of tasks that they are willing to do.
