After more than 30 years of existance this is the first real full-length album by German Black Metal pioneers NORDLYS NORDLYS is a German black metal band from the first wave of black metal in Germany. The band was founded in 1994. With "Lichterglanz Finsternis", NORDLYS deliver an album that is firmly rooted in traditional black metal and deliberately draws on the stylistic elements of the past.

We had Northern Lights yesterday here in Germany - a rare occasion! It was my third Aurora sighting in the last two years, and the strongest one of the three. Here are a couple of photos of all three Aurora days.
