So. I feel like a total idiot. I just saw a lovely video on pinterest of someone knitting on dpns. A few months ago I made a hat on dpns and it was my first ever time using them and I was super excited. I looked up how to cast on with them and how to connect them and I was like, awesome let's do this.
This is where the video comes in.
While knitting this lovely hat I used a total of 3 dpns the entire time. I wasnt sure why the package had so many in there, but I figured it was for larger projects or spares. Anyone who knits is probably going to cringe at this by my innocent little crocheting ass didnt know at the time. I spent this ENTIRE HAT switching the loops from one needle to another when I ran out of space. Like, when one needle was close to being empty and the other full because it already held loops, I stopped knitting, and just transferred the loops. This obviously took A LOT OF TIME. I also now understand why it was so hard to knit at times with the awkward position of the needles. And I didnt know this until JUST NOW.
In summary, I feel dumb.
