Australia is planning to roll out massive age verification and restriction changes for social media and search engines starting 27/12/25. Companies will have multiple options to verify users age such as:
Credit card checks
AI age estimation
Guessing based off of data the company already has
AI ID checks
Facial recognition based age estimation
This, needless to say, is fucking bad. If these changes go into effect DO NOT give them your information.

My city just passed a law making it ILLEGAL to feed pigeons because they are a "health and property damage hazard" so even though there are thousands of wild DOMESTICATED pigeons in the city if you are caught feeding or leaving food for any you'll get arrested.

So I like watching How Ridiculous on YouTube and their last video they used a paintball gun.
One of the guys said they needed a letter from the Police so I had to look it up and found out something funny if it wasn't so sad.
There are parts of Australia where you need a permit to buy a paintball gun.
And not only that. You have to be at east 16, they are for a limited time, and can only be used in designated areas. So woodsball? Not happening.
Were you like me and had a couple Acres to play on with friends? Do it and lose your ability to even own a paintball gun.
This reminds me of when, I think it was Nerf, came out with their gel blasters and some countries said it was considered a firearm.
Laws that define how a yard must look are terrible. They're environmental nightmares, and they likely enforce classism. You want to know who struggles to keep their lawn mowed? Is it the white suburban man working 9 to 5 with weekends off? Or is it a single mom working two jobs with a barely working mower?
Requiring lawns to conform is stupid. There is no benefit to short grass other than aesthetic.
